Site updates

Ok, I finally added a Terms of Service/Things that you should take note of when reading my site. Appartently, some people slightly overreacted to some of my comments.

For those who are way too lazy, I know how you feel, so here's a quick summary:

-This is a ranting site.
-Don't take me too seriously.
-Know what tone I'm using before saying anything. Usually, especially on those that is regarding my personal life, it is usually with sarcasm.
-If you got a problem with my blog, tell it to my face.
-Being a sadistic bastard, this site will hold a lot of sadistic and pessimistic views. Yes, I don't look like that kind of guy in life, but hey, that's me.

Anyway, I never knew how a little over-reaction could lead to such depression. I have to say that really effectively killed off my day. I mean, you could have at least told me about it first, instead of blaming on people. I am not the one who gets angry at trivial matters. >_>

Anyway the song of (whatever) is Dream X Dream from the Detective Conan's (my favourite Anime) 8th movie, sung by Auichi Rina! I am using Freewebs instead of the crap school server since I can't upload it. >_>

EDIT: It isn't playing well, so I decided to upload my favourite song: Hikari from the Kingdom Hearts OST, sung by Utada Hikaru! It is my favourite song, hands down. Dream X Dream ranks only 3rd in my favourite song list, if I'm to make one.

For those who want to obtain my music...

...read the page source. If you have no idea how, then too bad. XD

Oh, the songs are supposed to be deleted after 24 hours or something like that. :D

Ah..sensitive issues once again....

TPJC.net forums...part...I lost count...

So, Jasmine Kum, one heck of a tutor which I dislike, decided to be clever and start a sensitive issue....

EDIT: This looks like some kind of moronic GP question. There are 2 such threads, and people are answering in groups of three. Seesh. KEEP YOUR OWN STUPID LESSONS AT CLASS.

Foreign Students make good citizens?

As a GP tutor, I would have at least expected some kind of an essay or something.

Of course, I'm wrong. All she had was that.

First of all, Foreign students are not citizens...as they are... "foreign".

As usual, the thread started off cleanly.

Then...

Sigh...and hence, the flood begins.

But these foreign students need to get a reality check , OUR parents pay taxes to the government.Money that can be well spent on our locals and nuturing them to good professionals. But by importing one foreign student we are denying one local student of a good education or even a place in university.Besides some of the foreign student i met are very arrogant and snobbish , they think they are doing our country a favour by studying here but the fact is that we are paying for their education.Their arrogance is unacceptable, WE do need competition but a thin line seperate arrogance and confidence. What we should do now is to limit the amount of foreign students coming in or even better , we should ensure locals get a chance first before those foreigners!

I seriously ****ing resisted the impulse to flame the **** out of this guy. Right..SO THE $200+ we pay every 3 months isn't called SCHOOL FEES? You met some who are snobbish and arrogant. I can also name you a few that are arrogant and snobbish who are singaporean. Are all foreign students snobbish? You can get a place in the University, IF YOU STUDY HARD ENOUGH. How many PRC/Foreign students study here? a few thousand? Heck, I doubt quite a few make it to JCs in the first place, not that they can't head to Uni from a Poly. How many local students are trying to take a place? I don't see how I can be a goddamned competition. All these crap about Local students being competition is already crap. We just want to study here. Isn't Singapore's education on of the tops? Something which is being boasted about once in a while? Seesh. Moron.

Good citizens??!

Singapore is only a stepping stone for these foreign students. These talented pool of people come to Singapore for only one motive-- to further their education. Hence, in order to achieve their motive they would have to ''act'' as good citizens. (i.e obey the laws of Singapore )

Isn't it because of Singapore having an excellent education? Act as good citizens? Does it mean that once we head back to our main countries, we become ruthless thugs? >_>

Chong Shu Wen Inez 04S22 (Fri 25 Feb 2005 11:29 am) Not rated Profile Rate Reply Reply w/quote Send message

foreign students???good citizen???
tho they obey law in the country i still don't think that they are good citizens..they simply come here just for the sake for their future..they don care how's the country's situation where they are in now neither do they care about the country's environment...they just simply obey the law of the country and do wateva they need to do...they just do for the sake of doing...they arent sincere about doing anything for the country they are in...

What if we are? Why must such idiots be so myopic?

Sigh, the whole damned topic is full of such morons. I have no idea what to reply at times as well, without flaming them. Good citizens...or bad citizens....

Gah. Seriously, if these people have problem with foreigners, then why don't they try surviving alone? China did that, but they can't survive, and hence they have to open their doors. I'm not saying that all Singaporeans are so myopic, as I have met some great friends I'm sure I won't be able to make anywhere, but here are some examples of morons.

Oh wait, foreign students =/= (!=) foreign Entrepreneur? Haha.

Ah well..

In any case, the song of (whatever) is now Tina's Theme (Final Fantasy VI OST) from the Final Fantasy's Concert on 2002\02\20, arranged by Nobuo Uematsu and Shiro Hamaguchi. One of my favourites in my Final Fantasy Collection.

2 out, 1 runner at base, 2 balls, 2 strikes.

I go for the bunt..

>_>

<_<

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

LoL. But then again, I was counting on the people having no idea what to do, and that they can't catch the ball. This ain't MLB, after all. Haha.

It worked, but the next batter got a flyout.

So..>_>

In any case, welcome back! =D

I never double post...so...I am keeping the tradidion for a while at least.

TPJC.net forums, the place where you can never get bored of. Heck, it makes LUE looks dull because of all its attention whores, saying how they have a hot sister, asking for help on what to do after a car accident and that trash...

Let's see...today's main topic: What is LOVE?!?

=D

Gotta love these folks.

hmm peeps.. i've been wondering. what is love? is it to be together? by letting the one you love be with others while you do a disappearing act? or is love to stick together in all adverse situation? to be selfish..

ha.. it can be a GP question. love is selfish. to what extent do you agree?

Of course, there's plenty of Shakespere...bible quotes...and all other sources of information...

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.

just to stray off topic for awhile:

William Shakespear once asked,"what is the opposite of love?"

surprise surprise, the answer is NOT hate.

the answer is indifference.

Why?find out yourself.Or ask your lit tutors. :p

By the first page, there's already one sadist person who thinks that she is a poet, and has written a poem of sorts, saying how love hurts.

Good qns indeed...
many people don't what really is love...
to love somebody is not easy...
because to love someone...
one have to sacrifice alot...
physically... and even mentally...
i've realised that love is something dangerous when it is not carefully dealt with...
coz when you're being hurt by ur other half...
you heart will feel really painful...
and the pain is much more beyond words can describe...

but when it is sweet...
oh...
i can go hungry for weeks...
haha..
so... i think love is a bomb...
juz dun start the timer...
haha...

Then came the professors of Love, bringing their debates and stuff. =D

Lua Koh Sin 05S08 (Tue 22 Feb 2005 10:48 pm) Not rated Profile Rate Reply Reply w/quote Send message

Hmmm... there have been debate over this particular question in Open Varsity Debate Competitions before - this house believes that love is to sacrifice for the happines of others.
i personally don't think that love is to sacrifice or to be selfish... rather, it should be to vie instead of being selfish, to accept instead of sacrificing. Put it this way...
i feel that if you truly like someone and you think that it is possible for things to work out between you two, you should pursue for your own (and the other person's) happiness...
even if the person whom you like is attached, it does not mean that all hope is gone... i'm not asking you to deliberately break up a perfect couple so that you can get to the person whom you like la... i mean that, if you think that you will make a better partner than that person's current spouse, you should go all the way and vie for him/her... be a b*t*h or a b*st*rd if that person is worth it because what you are doing will do everyone good in the long run...
However, if you are rejected, that is when the 'accepting' part comes into play... Don't be thick-skinned and continue ruining the couple's bliss... it is time to accept the fact that you are not what the person wants as a partner and give them your blessings...
i think that everyone of us have our own views regarding this topic and there is not definite right or wrong about our ideas so, we should respect each others' opinions on this particular issue...

Love is what makes the world goes round. Every human beings, even animals, in this world needs love. Any kind of love. That is something which let us know, "Yes, we are still living!" A sense of belonging, of acceptance, that make us realise that we are not alone, that we have something to fight for, something to strive for, a goal, meaning for our very existence,

Does loving someone neccessary means to accept someone's character and behaviour totally?

Personally, i think that if you really love someone, you will want that person to get the best. You should not accept his flaws totally but try to encourage. eg. If the person you like love to take drugs, gambles.etc. Would you accept unconditionally? If you do, you are harming the person you love. Look at Parental love, it is not about total acceptance of behaviour, if not you will see alot of reculcitrants around in the society. Love is about doing what you think is best for the person. Love is not merely about making people feel good, it's also about making each other a better person. One misconception among teens is that people often protect friend even if they did the wrong thing because they think that it is what friendship means. But little did they realise that they are actually depriving him a chance to repend his mistakes which may result in his failure in future. Will you tell a person you love him after you made a criminal out of him? That's selfish.

Don't be blinded by love. Instead, be enlightened by love.

Master indeed.

What is a...sport?

Today, the Straits Times reported that in the recent budget meeting, those that are considered "sports" will be given funding.

Or something like that.

So, what is a...sport? Is it something which you have to endlessly run, chasing after balls of different kinds? Must you keep sweating when playing "sports"?

I was surprised to see that Chess probably isn't going to make the boat. Given that Chess is actually quite popular in Singapore, with a Chess Federation and competitions held regularly, I am surprised that Chess, including some such as Ice-skating and contract bridge is probably "going to miss the boat", as ST has put it.

To those who say Chess is boring, and that it requires no physical fitness at all, I say you are dead wrong. I'm not blaming you, because the word "chess" brings up to your mind about two old geezers playing in front of a board for hours moving blakc and white pieces about. True, no running around is needed, however, like games such as golf, the main muscle in use is the brain muscle. You need to be able to be sharp and alert after 4-5 hours of non-stop playing (something which I fail at constantly..), and need to decide where your opponent is going to strike. It's like soccer/netball/basketball. Anticapation, defense, offense. Only the difference is that I'm not running rounds on a court or something.

"This is subjective and ambigous. For example, shooting and bowling require physicial skill but no exertion" --Ivy Lim, Netball Singapore President.

>_>

Right, and do netballers play the game for 4-5 hours straight? It balances out, IMO.

If Chess isn't so difficult, then why is it included in the SEA/Olympic games? At some invitational opens, cash prices of millions of dollars are up for grabs. Compare that to the S League, where the top prize is a few hundred thousand. Heck, even the EPL don't give out that much. The EPL is stretched over almost a full year, and chess games can be over in a matter of weeks. It goes for most of the "non-sport" events. Ice skating isn't a sport..? Bowling..?

Contract bridge?

It's amusing that on the very next page, there's a golf report, saying that some guy got 1.4mil for winning a tournment. Singapore PE president said that it would be gross injustice for golf to be excluded. Is golf a game where you run around as well? Something which requires lots and lots of sweating? Or is it a single stroke, a birdy/eagle/par could mean 1 million, or more? So, when did sports come down to whether it has lots of exertion or not?

sport
n.

1.
1. Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.
2. A particular form of this activity.
2. An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively.
3. An active pastime; recreation.
4.
1. Mockery; jest: He made sport of his own looks.
2. An object of mockery, jest, or play: treated our interests as sport.
3. A joking mood or attitude: She made the remark in sport.
5.
1. One known for the manner of one's acceptance of rules, especially of a game, or of a difficult situation: a poor sport.
2. Informal. One who accepts rules or difficult situations well.
3. Informal. A pleasant companion: was a real sport during the trip.
6. Informal.
1. A person who lives a jolly, extravagant life.
2. A gambler at sporting events.
7. Biology. An organism that shows a marked change from the normal type or parent stock, typically as a result of mutation.
8. Maine. See summercater. See Regional Note at summercater.
9. Obsolete. Amorous dalliance; lovemaking.

From dictionary.com.

Seriously, I think this is a total joke. I think the journalist writting this article is also thinking this is kinda ridiculous. "May the wisdom of Solomon be upon those tasked with differentating sports "that require physical skill and exertion" from those that do not" Of course, I maybe wrong, but I feel that somethings, where the pressure is on the brain, and not on some leg muscles or arm muscles, should be considered sports. Personally, I find those who say that Chess Club is a "slacker" club, and that it's "boring" club being dead wrong. Activity between members are excellent, everyone joking around. Training till 7 on CCA days definately prove that we don't "slack", unlike some CCAs whose members appear just to chit-chat. Chess Club, to me, is a great place to be, and interaction is the main reason why I left Shooting/ARC. True, it probably had more now, but at that time, I didn't feel it at all.

I hope that Chess, if not most of the "non-sports" be considered. Physicial Skill and exertion is what makes a sport. Most of them have it. Some sports just isn't what people think. Darts is a pub game?

Seesh....

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Pei Hua! Best of luck for the A levels! Too bad you are in Taiwan. I have no idea how the heck I am going to send this message across...so...I decided to use this piece of crap...

LoL

Happy Birthday!

*Seth was lying on the ground, his back facing the night starry sky. A perfect night, for a perfect date.

Hence, the woman beside him. Seth gave a quick smile, as she lay right beside him, in a similar position. Had this beed the normal times, Seth was sure he would have placed an arm around her...maybe a few soft mummerings, then...he might just get lucky. He wonder if he should place an arm around her or something.

"Stay Sharp, Falcon." Raine, AKA Divan, hissed, obviously noticing his glances.

Damn, she's good...

Captain Seth Harrison was in a covert-squad that specialised in Counter-Terrorism events, particularly in the Sniper field. They specialised in giving Sniper cover fire to people who require it most.

Sighing, "Falcon" peered back inside the scope of the PSG-1 Sniper rifle that was perched in front of him. Raine, who's radio name, for some reason, was Divan, was a stunningly attractive female. Being one of the few females (only one of the two unattached) that was in his Squad, she provided lots of competition for the men on and off the field.

Then again, women like her can be a distraction in the field...like what she had been. Luckily, no missions have been failed because of them. On any other day, she would have been the sniper. Today, she was his "watchman", or spotter, as some call them.

Usually, Sergents would be the snipers, and officers like him would be in the command center, ensuring that everything goes on smoothly.

Then again, 2 events in a week has been exhausting for his men, which was why he came here to provide fire.

Today's was no better then the last one. The last one was a bank hold-up situation that had gone wrong. Today was one that happened in an embassy. Hostages are some high profile political jocks. Only 6 enemies counted for so far.

"All squads, check in. We begin in five." his current commander, Major Homer or Homie or whatever's voice came crackling in on his radio ear piece.

"Rifle 3, Falcon, ready. Rifle 3, sights are hot." Falcon replied. Raine tapped his shoulder lightly, indicating that she too, was ready.

"Target, 600 meters" her silky sexy voice came into his ears as the rest of the squad, including 2 other snipers from the local SWAT unit replied their commander.

A thumbs up was returned by Falcon.

"5-4-3- (the SWAT units would be thumbing their flashbang triggers at this time.)2-1. HIT IT!" the commander half screamed, probably due to a lack of actual field experience.

Immediately, a loud boom was heard, as the demolitions person pressed his button to blow the side and back doors apart. Next came the loud pop sounds of flashbangs which are designed to disorientate the enemy. Immediately, Falcon squessed his trigger on the PSG-1 Sniper rifle gently. A loud boom was heard as the 7.61 NATO round immediately left his Heckler & Koch Sniper rifle, traveling at 3 times the speed of sound. The target which he was aiming at for a long time dropped like a sack of beans as the bullet entered his head, blowing it up like a can of soup. With a satisfisfied smile, Falcon heard his spotter say the next target's location, as he moved his sights to the enemy.

One gentle squeeze later, the enemy will do no further harm.

"Falcon, twin Tango down." he reported, as the other two snipers reported their kills.

"Command! This is Kingston! We got a hostile which managed to escape us! Man down! Man down! Warning, warning, we got a target heading for the basement."

Oh shit. That means the target will be appearing from the basement doors.

Right into his line of fire.

Falcon smiled as he waited for the doors to ope-

There he is, running like a dog away from his angry masters, looking back constantly.

"Rifle 3 is on target"

Good night, ki-..

Wait a minute...

"Cassie..?" Falcon muttered.

"What? Blow his ass o-..Oh.." Raine said, before noticing why Seth had not blew the target's brain off.

Standing in the middle of the moonlight, Cassie had the figure which many, if not all, woman would want to die for. Intelligent and sporty, she was also many men's dream date. Any woman, including Raine, beside her would appear to be dumpy and plain. She was like a 10 foot tall christmas tree in a cemetery that was in the middle of the desert at night.

Seeing her for the first time in years, Seth's muscles tightened, his brain not knowing what commands to give.

Cassie was Seth's partner before Raine took over that position. Together with Seth, they formed the dream Sniper team, both can understand each other without the need to talk much. Cassie was also the first female member and sniper in the squad. They broke all the records in the range in the sniping category. Initially, she was just a spotter, but progressed till she was in charge of a squad of snipers. People who knew of them, often spoke of them in awe, wondering how they had been able to save so many lives with their sniper rifles.

Needless to say, she was Seth's girlfriend.

Sadly, during a bank robbery, she missed her target, resulting in a death of a civilian life. One mistake was all it took for the command to remove her from their squad. Seth has since lost touch with her.

Until now.

"Cassie.." Seth whisperered mentally, unable to believe what he is seeing. He has been looking for her for years, and here she was, a terrorist, and Seth a muscle twitch away from ending her life.

Orders....or....

Hell with it...

Seth fired the rifle.

The bullet missed her head by mere inches.

Cassie looked in his direction, shocked to see that she was still alive.

Even at 500 meters, in such darkness, she knew instantly who gave her a chance to live.

A quick salute was given as she ran into the woods. The police would have a hard time finding her now...if they even can.

"Rifle 3 has missed. Goddamnit..." Falcon tried to sound angry, hoping that was what his commanders would hear.

Raine looked in his direction. No words were needed, as in her position, she too, would have done the same thing. Both had been great friends in college and in the squad.

Sighing, Seth mentally prepared a report to his superiors, wondering how he is going to explain his first ever miss.*

Religion...hmm...

Note: THIS POST WILL CONTAIN SOME RELIGIOUS ISSUE. I AM TRYING MY BEST NOT TO DISS ANYONE. IF I DO...TOO BAD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

It's one heck of a sensitive issue.

Yet, I find it one heck of an interesting issue. Haha

Which god is the real god....my god > your god.

And the like.

Fascinating.

One of the main things I "like" about religion is how they claim that if you believe in them, you go to heaven.

That's of course, saying that if you don't, you go to hell.

So, I wonder...how do anyone know if this is true, if no one has known this fact?

Enter books.

Hmm...

Are they...or arn't they written by god/scribes of god/something like that.

I think it comes down to belief....interesting, yes?

Hmm...

Is hell exothermic..or endothermic, since hell does not expand, and souls keep going in (assuming that if you don't believe in 1 religion, you will go to hell). Since Boyle's law state that Pressure is inversely proportional to volume (or something)...

Er..

Nevermind.

Me?

I don't even know what religion I belong to... >_<

Being Cannon Fodder is fun.

They say winning, is everything.

That Winning will make you happy.

Obviously, they are idiots.

Nobody like to lose..?

XD

Not really.

Being at Board 1 today, I was expecting to get trashed. Heck, I was lucky to get 1/2 a point from some primary school kid. For those who snub me, maybe you don't know that board 1 usually has the strongest players.

Or maybe I plain suck.

XD

Like I care....

Anyway, the music of the (whatever) is the Opening Movie theme from Final Fantasy I&II by Tsuyoshi Sekito! I'm sick of the gundam theme. Haha.

Oh yeah, this is the one with Special Effects added. Somehow, it sounds like someone having an orgasm or something....XD

Hmm...midi, you say?

Think again.

--

Why...you ask,....why?

If only all the questions in the world can be answered so easily...
The world, I'm sure, would be much better, if all the questions can be answered so easily.
Sadly, this isn't the case.
Ah well.

Some questions, are best left, unanswered.

Perhaps I'm not ready.

Perhaps now just isn't the time.

Perhaps, I don't give a damn.

XD

What the hell am I typing this for...?

If you are my intended receipent, I think you should know what I am trying to say...hehe.

--

In any case, some people (fine...just 1....but...hey...), said that my blog is different, and that I'm over critical of everything and anything.

Well...

this-is-not-a-blog-.blogspot.com, remember?

So, why am I using a blogspot to do non-blog stuff?

Simple, I like it's simple (no pun intended...) design. My stuff used to be on a deserted message board, but I find this a little better to use, a little customisation can be fun when you are bored.

So, why all those comments?

Simple, I'm an overly-critical ass. I like to comment about anything, and everything. Don't like the way I type, you can always nopt visit my blog. This isn't some message board which is used by everyone. Just press back or something.

Why do I complain so much...since I probably can't change it?

Why not? I find it a good way to destress. If there isn't anything to complain about, I won't. Simple. If there is, I just like to spew rubbish here.

So, am I an attention whore?

Yeah, I am...XD

Valentine's Day, Part II

The valentine's day fever has come...and gone. How sad. Within one day, you realise that the money you spent to buy the girl of your dreams a flower is overshadowed by some other moron giving a few more. And that idiot is overshadowed by someone giving even more.

Then you realise that the girl isn't in your league.

XD

JC1s sure have lots of money....we seniors give like 1 flower to each girl/guy. The juniors gave them in the number of bouquets or something. Lots of JC1s with dozens of flowers under their arm. Hahaha

Well, I can't blame them, the JC1s are definately Cuter and more chi...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yay! Valentine's day! A day of giving and sharing.

Being an ass, as usual, I didn't buy anything for anyone, although I wanted to buy some flowers for the girls in Chess Club. I forgot why I scrapped that plan.

Ah well.

The council Interns are boring. They did the same thing every other JC has done, and more. Song delication? I wonder how they heck they are going to pull it off. Last year, we had some cookies that were sold out. XD

They didn't have it this year. Their flowers are pathetic, in extremely poor condition. I wonder how their food will be....=D Maybe it will be good.....

Maybe.

And oh, Happy Total Defence Day tomorrow!

Seesh...

Sunday Times today reported that the china students have been "stealing top spots" from the local students.

>_>

So drive them out! If you can't beat them, get them out!

<_<

Some kid talked about how china people have allowed him to win the bronze medal, claiming that he might have won the silver or the gold if they were not there.

>_> As if the world out there don't have any china people in major tournments.

"When foreign students take top places in schools, eventually they would also take away jobs from our kids." --Tam Chiew Hong (I wonder if the name is made up...)

Yeah...and the world out there has ensure places for your children.

Such myopic thinking of morons. Competition is good, but why stress the children to their limit? Tuition...tuition...extra excercises..just to "keep up". I don't see China students taking 12312 tuition classes. Problem would probably be in the fact that they can work smart (and oh, parents have complained that due to the china people competition, their children have less time to play....AS IF YOU GIVE THEM THAT TIME!), and not working hours to finish exercise books after exercise books, going to school shit tired the next day and falling asleep in class.

NF's Blog, now with 100% more Tagboard and music!

Finally, I got down to my knees (er...whatever), and messed around with the coding. So, here we have, a Tagboard, since Alice requested it, and some actual form of music! I will update the music every day/week/bi-weekly/monthly/whenever-I-want-to. I intially wanted to use it as a background src, but somehow Blogspot disagreed with it. Now you can stop my music, instead of stopping your own music/turning down your own volume. =(

XD

For now, Music of the (whatever): Life goes on by Arisaka Mika (Gundam Seed Destiny 2nd Ending Theme). I just love their damned soundtrack.

Anyway, I have decided to more or less stick with this theme because I am too damned lazy. Also, I kinda like the layout of this template, neat and stuff. The blogs (what you are reading now) can be seen clearly. I have no idea why some people would want to have their blogs squeezed in a 200 x 200 px. However, some of the skins I viewed seem to love that size. How the heck is someone supposed to read anything? I thought blogs are supposed to let the world know about your miserable life, but you squeeze it in a rat hole, expecting someone to read anything. Another thing I hate about some blogs are those annoying Javascript alerts. Fine fine, you know how to use Javascript. Three cheers for you! However, there is no need to say "Depressed" "In" "Love" in 3 different alert windows. >_> Heck, I wonder if anyone reads those Javascripts... I mean, I myself simply click OK while rolling my eyes. Sometimes, those javascripts even put me off, in a way that I won't even bother reading the blog instead. To top it off after placing like 4452 alerts, the blog window is so small, thanks to all the Links/tagboard/about me/quote of the day/mood meter/picture/whatever.

In short, the things I hate about websites
-Lots of pop-ups (ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT YOU CAN"T AVOID)
-Crap midi
-AlTeRnAtE CaPs/1337 +3x+/stupid means of communication that butchers english (Short form is...alright, though I don't like it. As long as the person does not over do it....)
-Small viewing area
-Lots of Pop-ups
-Anything else revelant.

Me? I just like it simple...and clean. XD

And oh, the tagboard does not require you to put your e-mail/url/telephone number/IC number. Just your name will do for me, thank you very much. Heck, you can put whatever you want in those 2 fields. Till now, I still can't understand what the field is for....it's like trying to figure out the meaning of life for me...

--

I wonder, if something is up with the bus drivers these days. They either go too fast, or go too slow. I don't mind the former. It's way more fun, and much less time consuming.

As for the latter.. >_>

Just today, some moronic ass decided that the speed limit along the road was 15KM/H. I was already late, and I was very lucky not to be late for school due to that ass. Behind me were some guys saying "Go faster lah, Uncle!" The bus driver, seemingly not caring, or he just had too much to drink the other night, decided to maintain hi slow course. Heck, I could have ran faster then what he is driving!

Morons. Saftey first, but balance it!!

When I came back home after the physics lecture ended at 9, there he was again! Thankfully, he was on the OTHER side of the road. Still being a moronic ass, his speed almost caused me to wait for another batch of cars before jaywalking. Seesh. Jaywalking is all about timing, and getting stuck on a road divider for 5 minutes thanks to morons like these makes me wonder if should use the overhead bridge next time instead.. >_>

TPJC HAS gone to hell...

I thought that the JC1s were bad.

I was wrong.

JC2s are worse.

Let's see....there's this stupid 1245 rule which our school has. Kenneth didn't like it, and decided to take it to the forums.

Response?

Juniors saying that they don't like it as well. To make matters worse, seniors are telling everyone to leave by the front gate.

>_>

And then, we have asses who keep defending the school for no reason....

There's already 5 pages on this rubbish. I am not going to even bother myself with looking through everything, since I need a decoder or something. Some of those morons should learn to type properly, instead of shortcutting with aLtErnAte CaPSSS..

rationale smechenels.. its better if ppl actually offer practical solutions rather den complain.
i haf nutin against the complains.. its a forum for all of us aniwae.. but dun start ur "fights" n
"hates" here mien..

its not nice to see tpjcians fight n argue amongst one another bcoz of trivial matters.. n its nt
nice to see jc students are supposedly of higher intelligence to ask such a question such as
rationale behind the 12.45 rule..

face it lah ppl.. wen things dun go ur way u complain.. im sure in secondary school dey release
u all at 12.30++ rite? but y dun ppl complain abt dat? coz it goes their way.. dats y.. cz
otherwise dey'd go hm later on normal days.. n if u can wait fer more den 2 hrs or sumting
fer ur frens or "spouses" y not a measly 35 mins.. rite? if u can wait fer hours b4 ur fav show
starts.. y not a measly 35 mins.. rite?

Practical solutions? Name me one freaking practical solution to the 1245 rule. We want out, so name me one good one other then waiting for the gate to open. And no, I don't wait for 2 whole hours for my friend. Again, people like this shows how moronic people are. What's wrong with asking questions? Is it wrong? It isn't something stupid like "The principal sucks! Can we vote her off, ala survivor style?"

no one actually asks u ppl to study during those 35 mins.. u are actually ALLOWED to play
such as basketball or soccer n stuff.. u noe that time flies wen ur having fun.. so y not use
ur brains or physical minds to gud use?

fer dat matter, dun aim directly to anyone in this forum.. jz mention the point dat sumone said is
enuf.. n dun be rude...

ciao!

So, for those who isn't playing sports in the hot baking sun, sitting around and rotting away is fun. Probably some new game I have not tried hard enough.

Dear Kenneth,
Apparently, whether I appear like a fool or not, it is by your judgement. I do not care about what you think because obviously, that's not the whole issue here.

Secondly, being a year 2, you'd have attended the talk during orientation where students are urged to do their own work and study during break times. It's uniquely strange to say that school is not a condusive place to study because school is in fact a place where you learn and gain knowledge. If the school is not a condusive place to study, then what is the whole purpose of coming to school? Besides, I don't think anyone goes home straight after school to study. Don't lie.

How does coming to school for lectures sound? Conductive my ass. You probably don't go home and study straight away. Some do. Just because you don't do something, does not mean the whole word follows what you do.

Thirdly, as unfortunate as I may be that I'm not in the school's administration, please do think RATIONALLY. How is it possible that lessons could end exactly at 1245 on most days given that there are students who are in classes that are of mixed subject combinations? The school also have to think about stretching its resources to the max, ie. the teachers and classrooms available.

Hence the word HOPEFULLY!

Fourthly, I don't think you are that updated in the forum. If you have read the many topics that have been put forth in the forum ie.top 10 fave food etc. So if you like some of the food, then, what's there to complain about. Just avoid those you don't like larr.. In addition, inventors are people who creates something to improve or deprove a situation. They don't complain. Here you are, complaining about something. If you wanna be like an inventor, create a hole in the school fence, and get out of the school through the hole. Then, I'd call you an inventor. It's disgusting to liken people who whine with inventors.

Fifth-ly, by voicing your complains, and not suggesting constructive and rational suggestions, you are apathetic.

Right. The entire canteen has what..7 stalls..? We like only 1 stall. Screw the rest, let them rot? Why not have maximum efficency to have all 7 stalls selling decent food? I am not asking for excellent, just decent.

Dear Kenneth, (lots of dear kenneth...XD)
I think that comment was entirely unnecessary. Stand up for what you believe in, yes, but DON'T INSULT PEOPLE'S INTELLIGENCE simply because you disagree with their stance on any matter. I don't know Nurhuda personally but I can tell you right here, right now that it is downright rude for you to call anyone a fool. What makes you any better and qualified enough to deem her a fool? Unless you've got substantiated evidence that you're blessed with an IQ soaring far above all else's, I suggest you quit making baseless accusations and insults.

Some people seem to have an IQ equalvilent to an ant. Fool is mild enough. It could be worse...trust me.

Furthermore, what's the point of arguing with Huda over this? She's not the one determining whether this rule will be amended. So if you're going to take it up with anyone, let it not be someone who simply has a differing opinion.

Arguing? I see this as discussing. She has a different opinion, is it an offense to tell her what we think as well? Her opinions are, to some extent, wrong, so we can't shoot her down?

Yes, I did say the JC1s whiny, and you can say I, too, was being judgemental, but I think the posts in forum speak for themselves. I ask of you to read the posts and threads pertaining to unsatisfactory aspects within the school and you will see a large bulk (if not, majority) of the complaints coming from this year's JC1s. Unlike you, I have good reason to say they are whiny. At least I don't call people names like 'fool'.

Geez.

Yeah. Finally a batch who can think and question instead of being drones who does everything, and accept everything that is given. Sadly, our batch of people seem not to have known this at all. What we are given, we accept. Yay!

I think it's really weird that you people are complaining about this issue. Stop the crap pLease.

Let me give my views.
I've been in the school for a year already, and I have no qualms about the 1245 rule. If you people want to leave early, but unfortunately, are not skilled in playing truant and skipping classes, then, don't come here to complain.

Yay! Breaking the rules is better then trying to change it! >_> Just because you love the rule, does not mean everyone shares the same feelings.

Aside from that, Jun Yao mentioned about people loitering about during 1210-1245 on fridays especially. There's always people loitering about all the time. Simply because the timetable is such that it contained a lot of breaks for some and a few for others. I see no major problems with having students loitering about. In fact, what's the whole problem? As long as you don't make too much of a din outside classrooms that are having lessons being conducted, all's well.

Good point. There's no difference between 100 students loitering and 200 students. Crowds that gather near the backgate is roughly the same amount of people who is there during their break time.

And some of you even mentioned that you all are not doing anything constructive during the period between the time your lessons end and the time the school gate opens. Like hello? apparently one of the core values of the school is independant learning. If you all think that you're so sick of studying in school and wants to leave early, it's not like as if you are gonna go home and study. If you're not doing anything constructive, it is by your own choice. It's like if you want to ruin your future, fail your tests, drop out of school whatsoever, it's by your own choice.

In addition, to those people who started this complain, would you prefer a fixed timetable whereby there are no breaks in between, strictly secondary school styled? If I'm the school administration, and you guys are complaining too much, I'd arranged the timetable such that it ends at 1245. see, there'll be no complains then. Grow up people. You're in a jc now. Things are fixed this way and that for a reason. Be thankful that lessons end at 1210 instead of 1245. bAh.

Personally, 1245 isn't too bad. Sadly, that can't be the case, yeah? That's why we should be let out of school! In secondary school, we leave when lessons are done. Why can't it be the same here? Keeping us in school for 35 minutes is a total waste of time. Think of all the NSing I could have done by then.

seriously, I feel this issue is extremely redundant. Even the canteen issue is redundant. It's been going on since last year. If you don't like the food in the canteen, don't buy. Easy. Boycott the stalls in the canteen or what, instead of just complaining. When they stop making profits, then, it's obvious that the food is not nice, and they'll try to improve on it. Problem is, you guys complain, you guys still eat the food in the canteen. So what was the complain all about? You people seems ok with eating the food in the canteen wad..

Do we have a freaking choice? Boycott...like it's so easily done. 40 minutes of break is not enough for us to go anywhere. Either give us a canteen, or demolish it so that it won't be a mere waste of space.

Are you guys just trying to live up to the name of being Singaporeans by complaining at every single thing that you hate about? Why don't you complain about the teachers who can be boring at times, or about your classmates who are not interactive enough? Get a life. Human learn to accomodate themselves to the situation. Or are you telling me you are not a human?

I think you all should stop wasting your time on complaining. there are bigger issues out there that's more interesting to be discussed. This kind of attitude you people have simply shows the apathetic nature of singaporean youths.

Accomodate..? Right. So when life sucks, and you actually could voice your opinions, why not? It's not like we don't have a choice to do anything. Bigger issues out there? Why don't you start? To me, this is one of the more interesting issues to date. Because it showed that people can think.

ok, in the first place, let's all realise the fact that chances of the 1245 rule being abolished is very very low...however, singapore is a country for freedom of speech and democracy, right? ok... so lets just waste our time here giving speeches then...

Oh, so voicing our opinions is a waste of time? Good point. No one listens to them anyway. So why bother? Hence, we must do thinks forcefully! Hold the school at gunpoint till they change the rules! Yay for terrorism! >_>

if u end your lesson at 1210, i think there's no point in making a fuss about the 1245 rule... its only 35 mins! even lesser than a half of a soccer match...u probably could use the time to review some lectures notes or stuff like that...for those ending school earlier then 1210, i know its really enduring to wait for 1245, but if there is no ruling and students were allowed to go home anytime they want, then it would be damn chaotic...i think we as students should try to understand the obligations that the teachers are taking... if some accident or whatever happens juz becoz the student went out of school earlier, the school would ultimately be responsible... no doubt... think about it, put yourself in the teachers shoes... you wouldnt want that to happen right? and if you want to say that you want to "bear responsibility for our own actions", then if you get killed or what(touch wood), then how you wanna do that?

Which part of "bear responsibility for our own actions" do you not understand? Idiot.

and for the j1s, if you hate this skool so much, you have the option of quitting the skool... seriously, you can juz go to the office and get the neceesary forms, and by the next day, you can wave goodbye to tpjc... happy already, dun nid to trouble yourself here... go to srjc, mjc, tjc, watever jc... i think by coming to a jc, you all should at least realise that the next step is university... so pririority is studies and not the smell of the canteen or the 1245 rule... theres no diff in studying in skool or at home.. well at least not much a diff...

Yes! Hate the school and go! It's wrong to voice your opinions! We can't change scrap! TPJC sucks!

I won't go any further lower, because I fear I may just start swearing at the morons there. The posts above are all from seniors like me. I am now officially ashamed to be a senior. Is this the kind of example we are setting for our juniors? Accept everything? What's wrong with asking some decent questions for once? Isn't MOE asking us to challenge the process? I guess morons like these are those who are in the "just shut the **** up and do what I tell you" type of people. Sadly, when they grow up, somehow, they will realise that the world is not in such a way. At times, you have to think for yourself, and challenge processes so that things can be improved. Perhaps that rule was in place since..1989?

Idiots. No wonder someone said that Singapore has 4 million people, 6 businessmen, and 1 CEO...

TPJC will go to hell at this rate...

Somehow, something is wrong somewhere in the new batch of students.

First off, 05S13.

Their CG rep make all that rackus about us doing nuts in his own TPJC message, and his class isn't giving a damn about the CNY crap. So, for some reason, only 7 of his peeps appeared when the seniors meet the juniors.

Apparently not.

Reasons given:

-Tuition
Er...WHO IN THE BLUE HELL HAS TUITION AFTER THE O LEVELS?!? It's the first 3 months, damnit.

-CCA
It's a thursday. WHAT CCA?

-Student Council Interns
I have been there before, but most fall out sooner or later. Like hell anything needs to be done for Friendship day. Heck, I am not seeing anything at all so far.

So, with a class like that, his CG rep has the nuts to talk crap with us? No plan. No people. Heck, all they need to do on Monday is to paste stuff on a wall for the fun of it. It's not like we are going to win anything or stuff. Heck, I am going there for the fun of it, I guess. Being a pessismist moron, I guess nothing will turn out the way our CG rep wanted.

As for the rest of them, you can see their attitute on the forums.

Since someone got scolded for bringing a file in, SHE DECIDED TO TYPE IN CAPS AS SHE COMPLAINED IN THE FORUMS!! YAY! CAPS!

First of all, if you want your views to be taken seriously, don't type in caps. Secondly, don't type in IRC speech. That way, people can actually read what you type, and don't need a decoder for what you type. IRC/SMS speech is called IRC/SMS speech for some reason. It means you can use them in IRC/SMS!

Since the school food sucks, there are many suggestions as to how it could be improved/obtain better food.

I thought I have seen the worst when people complain to say every food sucks (including the bread).

Of course, it can always go to a new low.

A microwave..?

........?

...

Right. Why don't you sponsor a few so that the school won't have an excuse to jack the misc fees to like $100 a month. Also, being that there are idiots everywhere, all someone need to do is something stupid (like tossing in a CD/battery/housefly/whatever) and the whole thing blows. Secondly, with our princpal loving to save money for all the wrong reasons, this is a defianite NO.

I guess I can say good bye to the new batch. I wonder how many actualy stay after the first three months.

Hail MJC! XD

Then again, we are slack, and MJC is insanely tough with their work. Slack is good. Which other JC has no tutorials in the firs week other then us?

--

Today, some sadistic bastard decided that GP is actually a lesson to learn something. So, he more or less insisted on continuing the discussion when everyone was slacking away. Heck, who in the blue hell bothers about discussing about the AQ? A waste of time, IMO.

Appartently, not to some people.

So, it's down to the four guys to mess around, once again.

Hell, even I joined them.

Then again, if you want to discuss questions, you can't keep saying "No Comment". Dude, those are rubbish questions, go with the flow.

At least he had the balls to tell us that he don't really like the four of them, since they are always making fun of him.

Then again, he's just CALLING to be made fun of at times. Yes, I am a mean, cold-hearted ass, then again. He should walk around the school with a sign board saying "Make fun of me, LOLZ?" I mean, he mutters to himself constantly, which is why I don't like sitting next to him. For example, he will mutter that the questions are hard in Maths tutorial when no one is paying attention to him. He also don't know when to talk. Here I am, reading Tom Clancy's Debt of Honour in Maths tutorial, and there he is, asking me questions when he's in a maths tutorial class. Hello? WHAT IS THE TUTOR FOR? Make him earn his keep! The make matter worse, it isn't questions like "How do you do this? (which I will simply pass him my paper if I know, as I do to everyone else)". It's comments like "Man, this is tough..." and "I got the answer, but I did it another way..dunno can or not" which irks me.

But hey, the situation could be bad, like what happened last year. Then again, the person in question DIDN"T HAVE ANY BALLS. Fine, I am being a sexist here, but what it did was really stupid and out of order.

And oh, Teow took a picture. A little enlargement was all that is needed for it to made into my current MSN pic.

XD

An update?!?!

So, since Alice said that my blog lacks a tagboard (perhaps in a sense that a huge house lacks a woman..?), I will put one there.

Soon.

When I'm free.

Tomorrow.

Sometime later.

Next Month.

Next year.

Whatever.

As far as I care, THERE IS NO TAGBOARD!

Fine, I'm an lazy sloth who don't want to do a bit more coding. Heck, I am actually using their crappy template that makes my school's website look GREAT and OUTSTANDING.

One day, perhaps.

Until then....

=D

In any case, I'm pissed. My essay was marked down for all the wrong reasons. I was not expecting anything more then a 22.5 (it was that kind of crap essay). Yet, it got a 26 when I'm sure any other teacher would have flunked me to hell and back. Then, of all the wrong reasons, I got marked down (Cold war is not relevent in a war essay? O_O. You learn something new everyday, I guess.)

Also, this is hopefully the last time I will sit in the front row. The rackus those guys make at the back can make a battlefield sound like some kind of deserted wasteland. However, it is actually fun to sit in front, as for some reason, you get to hear the witty comments from the back. I was laughing my ass off as the two tans were slugging it out with their words.

XD

There are morons....

...and then ther are morons.

Being surrounded by idiots is not common. Heck, for my entire schooling life, idiots surround you.

Hell, I won't even say I'm not one of them.

However, I DO know where to draw the line. A time to say stop. A moment...whatever.

Sadly, some don't.

Just because a teacher is being kind by not screaming his head off, does not mean you should take advantage of him. Seriously, the reason why idiots are sent out of class is because the teacher can't afford to take time to scream at them. In fact, the teacher has been very patient. Since day 1, the teacher has been joking all along. There must be a time when serious work must be done. Warnings are given out, yet ignored. Empty threats threaten no one, and hence the teacher is forced to send them out of class.

When one is stressed, and the idiots are still in a jolly happy mood, fireworks will definately errupt. One such incident happened today. Class Rep was way pass pissed, and way pass annoyed. Hence, a little catalyst was all needed for her to explode like Mt Fuji when it's young.

Sometimes, one needs to keep a cool head. Together with some idiots, I have no idea how I myself could keep a cool head. Yet, I have not survived so long with my mouth hanging open. I realised, that ignorance is bliss, and staying silent could be the best ability which I have.

And to our dear class rep if you somehow read this, I have repeated myself a million times:

SPRAY PAINT!!
